The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022

On 6th February this year, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
Although the Bailiwick of Guernsey is not a part of the United Kingdom, we have held a Crown Dependency status for over 900 years. The Queen’s personal representative is the Lieutenant Governor, who since medieval times, has acted as the Sovereign’s representative in the Bailiwick.
