Show Us Your Summer - Instagram Competition

This Summer, Locate Guernsey is giving you the chance to win some great prizes and have your photo displayed at the Relocate to Guernsey Show in London simply by showing us your favourite thing about Summer in Guernsey.

How to enter our Summer competition

• Follow us on Instagram @locateguernsey
• Upload a photo you have taken of your favourite thing about Summer in Guernsey, tag us in your photo and use the hashtag #LGSummerComp
• Please make sure your Instagram account is public, otherwise we cannot see the entries
• Closing date is midnight on Sunday 3rd September 2023

Terms & Conditions

1. Entries must be images only and not videos and must carry the hashtag #LGSummerComp

2. This competition is exclusively for amateur photographers but open to Guernsey residents and those visiting the island.

3. The competition will close at midnight on Sunday 3rd September and winners will be selected by a local photographer in conjunction with Locate Guernsey and announced on Wednesday 6th September 2023.

4. Once announced and contacted, the winners will need to send their original photographs to enquiries@locateguernsey.com before midnight on Sunday 10th September in order to receive their prize. In addition, Locate Guernsey will contact a small selection of runners up to share a copy of their photo. 

5. By sharing images with Locate Guernsey via enquiries@locateguernsey.com the entrants are giving their permission for Locate Guernsey to use their images in various promotional forms or activities. Locate Guernsey will endeavour to tag/credit accounts when sharing.  

5. No cash prize alternative.

6. The judges' decision is final.

7. This competition is being run by Locate Guernsey.

8. Employees and family of Locate Guernsey are not eligible for entry.

9. Entries will be accepted on Instagram only.

10. Please be wary of spam/impersonation accounts. Locate Guernsey will not DM (directly message) winners before the end of the competition at midnight on Sunday 3rd September and would never ask you to give personal/payment details.
