From 19th January 2022, changes to border testing requirements for those travelling into the Bailiwick of Guernsey have been made. A summary of these changes is provided below:
- No testing or isolation requirements for travellers coming from the Common Travel Area (the UK, Isle of Man, Jersey and the Republic of Ireland).
- A mandatory Lateral Flow Test on the day of arrival for non-Common Travel Area travellers who are fully vaccinated. It is recommended that you use the remaining LFT tests on days 3, 5, 7 and 9 after your arrival.
- Anyone arriving from within the CTA who has already completed the Travel Tracker can apply for a refund – you don’t need to do a new journey. Submit a request for a refund here: www.gov.gg/traveltrackerrefund.
- Anyone arriving from outside the CTA who has already completed the Travel Tracker doesn’t need to fill out the form again.
All new arrivals will continue to need to complete a Travel Tracker: https://covid19.gov.gg/guidance/travel/traveltracker
If you are coming directly from a country on the UK’s red list you will need to carry out a self-swab PCR test on arrival and self-isolate until the negative result of a second, Day 9, PCR test.
