Young Guernsey man Sebastian Priaulx is firmly on his way up the motorsport ladder after a thrilling drive on Sunday 1st October 2017 in the final race of the Simpson Race Products Ginetta Junior Championship at Brands Hatch.
Although the overall competition winner had already been decided in the previous day’s races, Priaulx showed the spectators true sportsmanship in a race for second place driving all out in a frantic and often nose-to-tail race. It was enthralling to watch as Priaulx clawed back crucial points in the final laps after dropping back to sixth place when, whilst making a move to take the lead, he got a wheel on the grass, lost his rear and went through the gravel.
